Humura Mission Agency provides theological and missional training to better equip disciples to carry out the mission of the church. Our biblical training curriculum includes classes that help disciples to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples and planting churches. We also offer resources to prepare pastors and missionaries for their future ministries.
Our purpose is to equip the body of Christ to make disciples who make disciples. It is very important for us to teach our indigenous missionaries how to be both fishers of men and women by grounding disciples firmly in their faith. Every missionary commits to actively visiting those that they are discipling two days per week. They can spend up to an hour or an hour and a half going through the Bible with them and engaging in theological lessons to help them grow in their faith.
Humura in cooperation with its sister ministry Great Lakes Evangelical School of Theology, offers a curriculum of twenty classes in an effort to train indigenous missionaries. The Great Lakes Evangelical School of Theology ("GLEST") was formed with the express purpose of providing theological education for pastors and other Christian leaders who previously were unable to access training. To this end, courses have been written and translated, and today there is a comprehensive curriculum of twenty classes covering subjects in theology, biblical studies and practical ministry. GLEST has a flexible administrative model that allows teaching to take place in a modular format in multiple remote locations. To-date over 1300 students have completed their studies with GLEST. If you want know more about GLEST feel free to contact Richelle and Richard Howard at richelle@vbcaurora.org Each indigenous missionary goes through a comprehensive curriculum before they are commissioned to go out and make disciples who create new disciples. These men and women, along with their families, have dedicated their lives to serving Jesus by making him known in their local communities.

We conduct theological conferences and seminars that are geared towards encouraging churches to join God’s redemptive mission in the world. We challenge churches to not only design programs that draw people into their churches, but to also develop missionary programs that train congregation members to become disciple-makers who go out into the world to fulfill the Great Commission. Corporate training lasts for about two days. We also train individual churches once per month.
